Animal information
A238165
Located At: Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter - Santa Cruz
Description: My name is Bobby* and I am a neutered male, brown tabby Domestic Shorthair.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 9 years old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Sep 14, 2026.
Meet Bobby, the handsome brown tabby. Bobby came into the Shelter as an owner surrender after his previous guardian was unable to continue caring for him.
Bobby is a big love who enjoys coming out and rolling around while people sweet talk to him. He may do well in a home with other animals or may prefer to be the only cat in the home. Any introductions with other animals should be done in a slow, thoughtful manner.
Bobby came into the Shelter with a history of being on a special diet. Adopters are expected to continue this special diet in his adoptive home and monitor his litterbox habits. Should there be any changes to his litterbox habits or other medical concerns, they should follow up with their veterinarian. Because of this, Bobby should be kept indoors so that guardians of aware of his health status.
Bobby’s adoption fee has been sponsored by the Silver Whisker’s Fund – a fund that helps get senior cats out of Shelters.
Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
