Description: My name is Summer* and I am an unaltered female, tortie Domestic Shorthair.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 11 weeks old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Jul 18, 2026.
You may adopt me as soon as I am spayed or neutered!
Meet Summer, one of six kittens in a litter! Summer and their siblings came into the Shelter from a home they grew up in. They were indoors only. Their previous guardian described them as very friendly. Summer would do well in a variety of homes. If there are any other animals in the home, a slow, thoughtful introduction is recommended.
Summer is available for pre-adoption. Come meet her, fall in love and take her home after her spay surgery.
Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
