Meet Billie!
Billie is a sweet little kitten who may not be able to see the world, but she’s ready to experience all the love it has to offer! She loves pets and making biscuits, and she has all the potential to be a playful, cuddly, happy companion.
Blind cats can adapt remarkably well and enjoy life just like sighted cats—they play, cuddle, explore, and happily use their litterboxes. Billie will simply need a thoughtful adopter who can make a few adjustments to help her feel safe and confident.
Billie must be kept indoors for life and should be introduced to new spaces gradually, giving her time to learn her surroundings. Keeping important items like her food and water bowls, litterbox, and furniture in consistent locations will help her navigate independently. It’s also helpful to use sound rather than visual cues to communicate with her—talking to her so she knows where you are, using familiar sounds at mealtimes, and letting her know before you reach out to pet her.
With patience, consistency, and lots of love, Billie can thrive. This special girl is ready to find someone who will see just how wonderful she is!
