What did we do on today’s adventure:
Tanner and I spent the morning exploring the shady streets of Willow Glen, taking in the sights downtown and stopping by a doggy store where he carefully inspected all the treat options. We paused at a park so Tanner could sprawl out in the grass, happily observing the world around him. He did great on leash and thoroughly enjoyed sniffing every new scent along the way. Car rides aren’t his favorite, but with some reassurance, Tanner hopped in and handled it like a champ.
What should potential adopters know about me:
Tanner has been waiting at the shelter for nearly four months, and he’s ready for an active home that can match his adventurous spirit. He’s incredibly dog-social and a play group all-star, especially with his best buddy Milo (who’s also looking for a home!). Tanner loves greeting other dogs on walks and would be thrilled to have a dog sibling to share his adventures with. Tanner walks nicely on leash, knows how to sit, and is well-socialized. While he will need some time to adjust to home life, with patience and love, Tanner will blossom into a loyal, joyful companion. If you’re looking for a partner for neighborhood strolls, park outings, and everyday fun, Tanner would love to be by your side. Could you be the one to give him the loving home he deserves?
Three words to describe me:
Social, Playful, Sensitive
