What I did today:
Today’s 5-mile walk didn’t feel like my biggest accomplishment because I still had plenty of energy and felt like I could have gone much farther. My human friend made sure I stayed hydrated with water breaks while also stopping me from chasing distracting ground squirrels and watching out for other wildlife like lizards. Although fast cyclists made me nervous, I handled meeting other dogs well as long as I could keep a comfortable distance and continue on my hike confidently.
What to know about this dog:
• Sourdough has boundless energy and would thrive in an active family that enjoys long hikes, fetch, and playing with soccer balls.
• She is intelligent and trainable, already understanding commands like sit, paw, stop, and down, with strong potential for further behavioral training.
• She has a strong prey drive, making her best suited for a home without cats or other small animals.
• She can be sensitive to loud noises and fast-moving cyclists, and would do best in a structured, experienced, and active household.
