Age: The shelter staff think I am about 12 years old.

More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 21, 2026.
Intake date: 8/21
Millie is a 12 year old F intact Westie mix who has the following findings on initial physical exam:
- SEVERE dermatitis under chin and along back, hind limbs - improving with antibiotics, anti-inflammatories (zenrelia) and medicated baths but has a long way to go
- Severe ear infections
- Moderate dental calculus
- No heart murmur
- Mature cataracts in both eyes - functionally blind
In need of URGENT senior rescue who can:
- perform dental
- continue treatment of skin disease - may need twice daily medicated baths for several months, and may need protracted course of antibiotics. if skin issues are chronic, may need long-term anti-inflammatories such as zenrelia or similar
- continue treatment and monitoring of ear infections
- monitor her eyes for any changes - cataracts can lead to glaucoma or other eye conditions so close monitoring for discomfort or changes is needed long-term
