Cloud may look like a big, majestic Great Pyrenees, but when he first arrived at the shelter, the world felt like a very scary place. At just 3 years old, this handsome boy was so overwhelmed that even the short walk to the play yard was a challenge. Everything was unfamiliar, and his confidence had disappeared.
Thanks to the kindness and patience of dedicated volunteers, Cloud is slowly beginning to believe that people can be trusted. Each small victory is worth celebrating. Once he reached the play yard, he relaxed enough to enjoy exploring his surroundings, giving us a glimpse of the wonderful dog waiting beneath his uncertainty. We can't wait to watch more of his personality emerge as he realizes he's safe.
Cloud has been incredibly gentle and tolerant with everyone he has met. He doesn't ask for much—just a family willing to let him move at his own pace. The greatest gift you can give him isn't toys or treats; it's patience, understanding, and the time to blossom into the loyal companion we know he can be.

To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
