Animal information
A926511
Located At: Sacramento County Animal Care Services
Name: Shelter staff named me Alfalfa.
Description: I am a black Chicken.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 2 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 18, 2026.
Alfalfa is a handsome boy with black iridescent feathers. He is a bit nervous when his crate is refreshed, but, nothing calms the boy down like a nice "soak" in his dust bath. He loves his treat of meal worms and has never been agitated toward staff or volunteers. Alfalfa came in to the shelter with his pal Spanky. If you are interested in Alfalfa (and maybe Spanky?) please ask about him at the shelter's adoption desk.
