Age: The shelter staff think I am about 8 months old.
More Info: I was found and am currently at San Antonio Animal Care Services. If you believe you may be my owner please make arrangements to pick me up before 4:30 PM on 05/07/2026 or go straight to ACS as soon as possible. Maxwell "Maxi" is a loving and playful guy who enjoys running, walks, car rides, squeaky toys, and catching a ball. He will pout or give you sass just like a toddler and has figured out how to get his leash off the hook to ask for extra walks. He is crate trained for time outs and it is his preferred sleeping space. He is outdoor potty trained using the doggie door like a champ. He does well with his (small) foster fur dog siblings but has had a few food guarding situations, so he does best being fed alone for now. Maxwell is a quick learner- sit, paw, out (leave the room), or in (go in the crate), and is working on "off" for jumping up on people/furniture. He gets so excited and forgets his manners sometimes. Maxwell will make an excellent addition to any family and will be greatly missed by me.
