A169413
Located At: Santa Fe Animal Shelter
Description: Staff named me Roman and I am a neutered male, tan and black Mixed Breed.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 8 months old.
More Info: I am now available for adoption.
I was lost but my owner has not found me.
"Lucky is the person or family who gets to bring Roman home—because he’s not just a dog, he’s a whole vibe!"Roman is a big boy with an even bigger heart—the canine version of a gentle giant. He’s always ready for a spirited game of tug-of-war or to hop in the car for a joyride (shotgun, obviously). He thinks kids are the best kind of playmates and, despite his size, he’s surprisingly gentle—like a big fluffy bodyguard who also hands out free hugs. This handsome fella already knows how to sit and lie down (we’re still working on “don’t give me those puppy-dog eyes for another treat,” but honestly, who could resist?). He LOVES treats almost as much as he loves snuggles, which is saying a lot. Roman has been taken out on the town by our volunteers and earned rave reviews—he’s polite with people, chill around other dogs, and lights up when there’s water around. Splashing in the creek? He’s a doggy mermaid.
Roman’s adoption fee has been covered by a loving family. He is neutered and microchipped and has age-appropriate vaccinations. A licensing/microchip fee may apply.
