Age: The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 7 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since May 17, 2026.
Ohitos and Almendra are a very friendly pair of female guinea pigs. They were well socialized by their former family but some of their medical and living needs were not met. They came in with very long nails that required gentle cutting. It's important that new guinea pig owners educate themselves before considering adopting these gals. Yes they are small creatures but do require a lot of work and even space (keeping them in a small cage is not appropriate).
