Meet Chico, a high-energy lovebug with a heart as big as his personality! With his adorable patches and spots, not to mention his signature little stumble and high steppin', Chico turns heads and melts hearts wherever he goes. He’s got a unique look (thanks to a dent in his head) and an even more unforgettable spirit. How has this boy been passed over for 100 plus days? Staff just don't understand! If you meet him, you will be sure to agree that he is a hidden gem!
Chico is a lap dog at heart—he may wobble when he walks, but he’s steady when it comes to love. He knows some basic commands and is eager to please, especially if a snuggle session or piece of cheese is the reward. While he can’t do stairs and has some mobility challenges, he makes up for it with zoomies, tail wags, and constant affection.
Because of his enthusiastic nature and a tendency to get a little anxious, Chico would do best in a home without small children—he wouldn't mean to, but he might accidentally knock them over. He’s looking for a patient, loving home where he can be your quirky, loyal sidekick.
Chico does have some medical needs, so please give us a call to learn more about how to support this special pup. He’s ready to wiggle his way into your heart!
Please call the East Shelter so start the adoption process 416-338-7539.
