Pepper is a stunning Shepherd mix with a beautiful, sleek black coat that turns heads wherever she goes. True to her breed, she can be a bit cautious when meeting new people, preferring to assess the situation before diving in. However, once she gets to know you, Pepper completely blossoms into the ultimate "velcro dog" who wants to be right by your side at all times.
When she is not busy being your best friend, Pepper is an incredibly playful pup who loves to chase toys. If you happen to have a squeaky ball, you will win her heart almost instantly, as they are her absolute favorite. She has a wonderful balance of fun, athletic energy and a sweet desire to just lounge comfortably near her favorite human.
Because Pepper thrives on predictability and loves her own space, she is looking for a house with a secure backyard rather than a condo or an apartment. She does have a loud bark and is not afraid to use it, so ideally a home without any shared walls. To help her truly thrive, Pepper requires an experienced owner, specifically one with working dog or Shepherd experience, who understands her intelligent and protective nature. Additionally, Pepper is looking for a home without young kids, making her ideal for an adult-only household or a family with mature teenagers who can respect her initial boundaries.
