Meet Saffron!
True to her name, this beautiful orange girl is a unique treasure with a healthy dose of spice. She is independent, walks with a lot of confidence, and definitely likes to be the main character of her own story.
Saffron is looking to be the only cat in the home. She has made it pretty clear that she does not like other cats and prefers not to share her throne, expecting to be the primary center of your universe.
When it comes to love, Saffron prefers affection on her own terms. While she isn’t a needy lap cat, she will seek you out for rewarding head scratches and loud purrs when the mood strikes, as long as her human can respect her boundaries when she’s ready for some personal space. She can have a short fuse when it comes to handling, so she does best with people who are comfortable reading cat body language and letting her interactions stay on her terms.
Because of her big and strong personality, Saffron would do best in an adult-only home that understands when to give her space and let her come around in her own time. She would thrive with an experienced cat owner who appreciates an independent spirit and knows that trust is earned, not rushed.
If you are looking for a stunning, confident sidekick with plenty of attitude, call the East Region at 416-338-PAWS (7297) to start the application process!
