Age: The shelter staff think I am about 1 year old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Mar 02, 2026.
Lovely Mia is ready to find a home.
Chinchillas do well with a friend, and so she will need to be adopted with another chinchilla. She gets along very well with Mariana, Mercedes, Martina and Maria.
Chinchillas are active and live at least 10 to 15 years.
They thrive in a large, multi tier wire cage, and love to munch on hay, chinchilla pellets and chews to help their growing teeth.
These little characters, are social but can be a bit on the timid side.
They like a cool, draft free area, and require a dust bath at least 3 times a week to help keep their coat clean.
