Meet Ginger | 10 yrs | 30 lbs
Ginger's foster says that Ginger is simply the perfect dog.
She's great with other dogs and knows how to politely set boundaries when needed. She's been out to restaurants, horse shows, and public events and has handled everything like a pro. She also gets along wonderfully with cats, horses, and even cattle.
Ginger is partially blind, so she may occasionally bump into things or take a little tumble, but it never slows her down. She still loves her walks, sunbathing sessions, rolling in the grass, and chasing squirrels when she spots them.
She's not much for toys, but offer her a good chew bone, some belly rubs, or a snack of carrots, strawberries, or bananas, and you'll have her heart.
Ginger walks beautifully on a leash, prefers calmer canine companions, and would do best in a home with older children who can respect her need for a peaceful environment. She's also a speedy eater, so she'll need a slow-feeder bowl.
Her foster says she's their favorite foster dog ever—and once you meet her, you'll understand why. Contact us to meet her and see for yourself - (254) 754-1454.
