Agua is a beautiful black-and-white sweetheart who has traded her outdoor days for the comforts of indoor living and has never looked back. After being taken into foster care as a teenage mom, she worked hard to raise her own kittens and even helped care for five babies that weren't hers. Her nurturing spirit and gentle heart shine through in everything she does.
Agua loves spending time near her people and enjoys gentle pets and attention. Wand toys are one of her favorite ways to play, and she never turns down a tasty Churu treat! While she may not be a lap cat just yet, she likes being close to the people she trusts.
Because of her early experiences, Agua is still building confidence and learning that humans can be safe and loving companions. She doesn't enjoy being picked up, but she tolerates necessary handling and continues to make progress every day. With patience, understanding, and a little time, Agua will reward her family with her quiet affection and loyal companionship.
Agua gets along well with adult cats and peacefully coexists with her foster dog. She would thrive in a home that will let her settle in at her own pace and celebrate the small milestones as she blossoms.
