MEET TAMIR!
Hey everyone! My name is Tamir and I am a quiet, sweet, gentle guy with so much love to give! You wouldn't believe it looking at me today, but this gorgeous and unique coat you see on me was in utter shambles when my shelter family first laid eyes on me. I was in so much discomfort and pain, suffering from a skin infection that caused my whole body to crust and scab. I was hurting horribly and at first, I didn't realize the shelter staff was just there to help me! Boy, did that change! Once I started treatment, I began feeling so much better and as a thank you, I revealed not only the most beautiful fluffy, furry, cream tabby colored coat to the shelter staff... but I got to show them my true colors.
Now, I am a loving and down to earth boy and the self proclaimed king of biscuits. I don't demand attention, but I truly appreciate it. I am super laid back and prefer to enjoy a nice nap in my bed or a quiet spot to lay in comfort. Shelter staff thinks that I haven't had too much comfort in my life, so I am soaking it all up now!
Although I am FIV positive, I am all healthy now and can live a long and happy life as long as I am kept indoors and get the normal vet visits pets need, just like any other cat! My difficult days are in the past! I am up to date on vaccines, neutered, current on prevention, microchipped, and I am ready for my fresh new start with a forever family!

All Adoptions require a Pre-Adoption Interview with a YCAS Adoption Counselor, a meet and greet, and adoption approval. Every adoptable cat is Spayed or Neutered, implanted with a microchip, current on age appropriate vaccinations including a current 1 year Rabies Vaccination, and current on monthly Flea/tick prevention. All pets are behaviorally and medically evaluated prior to being placed up for adoption. The adoption fee is $77.
