I am a neutered male, yellow and white Alaskan Husky mix.

Tallon (A138825) is a 4-year-old AK Husky mix who weighed 61.3 pounds on intake!
06/28/26 Boog, previously known as Tallon, was reluctantly brought back to the shelter due to no fault of his own. Boog was said to do very well with every human, cat or dog that he met in his most recent home. Please still remember to keep introductions slow and controlled. Boog was said to be housebroken and mostly kennel trained. He has, on at least one occasion, broken out of a kennel and become destructive in the house. Boog was described as being outgoing, friendly and affectionate. He can be rough when playing, and he has been known to destroy stuffed toys. He loves his walks and playing ball! Boog was said to know some basic commands, such as sit, go, down, jump, come here, and leave it. Boog has been known to chew and get into the trash if given the chance. He has also been known to be vocal at times. He was said to ride well in the car and to generally mind well. If you are interested in meeting Boog, please give us a call!
09/22/25 This photogenic boy is Tallon! Tallon was surrendered to the shelter because he was not meshing well with the other male dog in the home. Tallon only lived in that home for a brief period and was initially rehomed due to his owner moving out of state on not being able to bring him with. Tallon was said to do well with female dogs and even cats! Please ensure you are always making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new animals to help set him up for success. Tallon did arrive at the shelter overweight and was assess by the shelter vet who placed him on diet! Tallon’s ideal weight should be near 55 pounds and it is recommended that he has weight checks with his vet every 3 months until he has achieved his goal weight! We encourage his next owner to discuss with their vet on ways to help Tallon shed those pounds! We unfortunately have limited information on his house behavior (housebroken/kennel trained/etc). He has done great at keeping his kennel clean at the shelter indicating that he may be housebroken. We also encourage his next owner to bring him to a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on his manners. If you are interested in meeting Tallon, please let us know!
