Sweet Potato (A139552) is a 1-year-and-4-month-old Lab x AK Husky mix who weighed 42.2 pounds on intake!
07/23/26 This little lady is Sweet Potato! Sweet Potato was surrendered to the shelter due to no fault of her own. She was described as an outgoing, friendly, and affectionate dog! She has found the shelter environment to be quite intimidating, so she is looking for a home that will allow her time to decompress. It was stated that she does well with children and is more reserved with men. She was noted to initially be scared of other dogs, but after appropriate introductions would become their friend! She has no experience with cats or pocket pets. Sweet Potato does have the fault of being an escape artist and will jump fences! She should always be on a leash, secure tie-out, or supervised when in a fenced-in yard. She was said to know her basic commands, is kennel trained, and housebroken!
