Denny (A142532) is a 1-year-old German Shepherd x Chow Chow mix who weighed 48 pounds on intake!
06/23/26 This playful boy is Denny! Denny arrived at the shelter after being found running around South Davis Park! Sadly, no one came forward as his owner, so he is now looking for his new place to call home! While at the park, he was the master of keep away, so he will need a home that can keep him contained – supervised in a fenced-in yard, on a leash, or secure tie-out. He does enjoy going outside on his walks and is looking for a home that can provide him with plenty of mental and physical stimulation. We also encourage his next owner to bring him to a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on his manners. Denny has done well at keeping his kennel clean/accident free while at the shelter indicating that he may already be housebroken. However, we do not know this for a fact and keep in mind that there is always an adjustment period. Since Denny was a stray, we also do not know if he has experience around children or other animals.
