More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 11, 2026.
Skeeter (A143064) is a 2-year-old DSH who weighed 6.13 pounds on intake!
08/11/26 This little lady is Skeeter! Skeeter was surrendered to the shelter and is looking for her new place to call home. Her surrendering owner stated that Skeeter does not appreciate being picked up but does enjoy being petted and brushed! She just wants things done on her own terms! Skeeter was said to be scared of children and can be timid around adults. She would do best in a home without small children or children who don’t quite understand boundaries yet. Skeeter was said to get along well with other animals including other cats and dogs. It is important that appropriate introductions are being made to help set her up for success. She was also said to like jumping up on counters and would get into the trash or eat food that was left out. She especially loves lunch meat. It is important that you are not leaving things out that she may get into that could cause her to get sick. Skeeter would appreciate a cat tree in her next home that she can lounge on and climb! She was also said to use the litterbox and has not had issues with using it while at the shelter. If you are interested in meeting Skeeter, please let us know!
