I am a spayed female, yellow and white Alaskan Husky.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 8 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Aug 14, 2026.
Cheezit (A143097) is a 1-year-8-month-old husky mix who weighed over 40 lbs at intake!
08/14/26 This sweet, outgoing girl is Cheezit! Cheezit was brought to the shelter due to no fault of her own. She was described as being outgoing, friendly and affectionate. Miss Cheezit loves to sploot! She is easily excitable and has been known to be vocal at times. Cheezit has been known to jump on people. She was said to do well with children, but please keep her jumping behavior in mind, as some kiddos may not appreciate that or may be knocked over by her. Cheezit was said to be kennel trained and housebroken. She will ring a bell on the door to indicate she needs to go out. Cheezit has been taught to speak and sit. Enrolling her in a basic obedience class with a certified trainer would be a great way to build a relationship and help her with her manners! Cheezit has also been known to dig (very husky of her). Making sure she is getting plenty of exercise and enrichment can help quell this behavior. If you are interested in meeting Miss Cheezit, please give us a call!
