Age: The shelter staff think I am about 1 year and 2 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Feb 12, 2026.
Phoebe is the epitome of a happy, wiggly, toy-loving puppy who is just so excited to be alive.
She’s got energy for days (zoomies included), a serious love for toys, and a personality that keeps you smiling. Volunteers call her everything from a “wiggle worm” to “silly, playful, and full of life” and they’re not wrong.
But here’s the thing about Phoebe, once she gets her energy out, she settles. She checks in. She leans in for pets. She wants to be close to her person. There’s a really sweet, loving girl under all that puppy energy.
She already knows “sit” like a champ and is working on the rest. She’s smart, she just needs someone willing to guide her and keep her mind busy. Like most puppies, she can be a little jumpy and rowdy when she’s excited, but she responds well to redirection and is eager to learn.
Phoebe would do best with someone who:
• Understands (and embraces) puppy energy
• Will continue basic training and structure
• Wants an active, playful companion
• Doesn’t mind a little chaos in exchange for a lot of love
She’s been described as a “rubber limb puppy,” a “snuggly wiggle worm,” and “two peas in a pod” with her dog friends in the yard. She loves to run, explore, play, and yes, occasionally give you full-face kisses when you least expect it.
Phoebe isn’t a finished product but she’s the kind of dog you build a bond with, laugh with, and grow with.
