Meet Nico, a fun-loving active pup with a sweet, sensitive soul. Nico started off a little timid when he first arrived at the kennel, but he was quick to warm up and show off his affectionate side. Now, he has really come out of his shell and he's ready to find a home where he can enjoy plenty of fun and snuggles in equal measures!
Nico always has a blast when he gets to go out for a walk or for a romp in a play yard. He loves running around and showing off his favorite stuffies, or joining you for a game of fetch. He also likes to sniff and explore on walks and hikes. He has some energy, but settles fairly quickly after a few minutes to stretch his legs. Plus, he's a water dog - he likes to wade or bob for toys in the kiddie pools.
Nico also loves spending time with people, especially when you get down on his level and invite him to snuggle. If you are ready to take a break, he settles in next to you and leans in for affection. When you're ready to go again, so is he. Though he is a goofy goober, he is also attentive to his person and already knows a solid sit. The kennel is a pretty overwhelming place for his sensitive heart, and we think he will be quick to pick up on the routine and relax in a home in environment.
