Q: How do I list my organization's pets on 24Petconnect?

A: Thank you for your interest in including your animals’ information on 24Petconnect. At this time, the data you see on 24Petconnect is imported directly from our clients (chameleonbeach.com to see who we are) or from Adopt a Pet (www.adoptapet.com), previously known as 1-800-Save-A-Pet. If you are interested in animal welfare software please visit our website to learn more about our products. If you are not interested in animal welfare at this time, you may wish to contact the folks at Adopt a Pet about sending your data to them. You would then have an option to send it on to other agencies, including 24Petconnect.

Q: How do I edit my pet request?

A: On your daily pet request email there is a button at the top that says "Edit Animal Request." Click this link in order to edit your request. After making your changes, be sure to click the "Submit" button found at the bottom of the page.

Q: How do I cancel my pet request?

A: Enter the email address you used to register your pet below and we will send you an email with a link to cancel your request. Also, on your daily pet request email there is a link at the top and at the bottom that says: “Click this link to cancel your registration at any time.” Clicking this link will cancel your pet request and you will no longer receive email for matching animals.

Q: I need to activate or reactivate my request.

A: (Includes both pending and previously canceled requests) Enter the email address you used to register your pet below and we will send you an email with an activation link.

Q: I would like information on a specific animal.

A: 24Petconnect provides lost, found, and adoptable postings for animal welfare organizations across the country. However, none of the animals are in our care. For additional information on a particular animal please contact the organization directly. Their contact information can be found on each animal’s detail page. The animal’s detail page can be accessed by clicking on the image of the animal or the linked text next to the animal’s picture.

Q: Why are you sending me the same matches every day?

A: We send out all potential matches based on the criteria you have selected. If a particular animal matches that criteria, we will continue to send that animal's information to you. We'd rather err on the side of caution and send out all potential matches each day than have you miss seeing the animal you are looking for.

Q: The image I uploaded isn't showing up on the website.

A: Images can sometimes take up to one business day to be approved (but is usually much faster than this) because our support team screens/corrects all the public images. If you uploaded an image and don't see it on the website, please fill out the above form to 'edit' your posting. The stats of your images will appear at the top of the form. If one of your images was disapproved, you can upload a replacement at the bottom of the form.

Q: You have my pet.

A: We are a national database for lost/found/adoptable pets. None of the animals displayed on our website are in our care. Please contact the organization your pet is located at for more information/instructions on how to retrieve them.
